[Review] TMNT #22 - "City Fall" part 1

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #22
Story: Kevin Eastman, Tom Waltz
Art: Mateus Santolouco
Publisher: IDW

Why in the seven hells can’t this series be bi-weekly? It’s too much torture having to wait a month between issues, this series is just that good. I am so happy with this series, it is my absolute favorite version on the TMNT. I thought the Mirage universe could never be topped, never have I been so wrong.

[Review] TMNT Villains micro-series #2 - Baxter Stockman

TMNT Villains micro-series #2 -
Baxter Stockman
Story: Eric Burnham
Art: Andy Kuhn
Publisher: IDW

Baxter Stockman has never been a truly engaging character to me. In the 2003 Fox animated series, he actually seemed to have a purpose for the first time, which was to supply Shredder and the Foot Clan with weapons based technology. I liked that he was portrayed as an abused tormented evil genius, essentially a prisoner. When I say abused, I mean it. Every time one of his plans or pieces of equipment didn’t quite bring the results Shredder wanted, he lost an appendage until he was reduced to nothing more than a brain in a jar. Ouch. The IDW series seems to adopt this position, but for a new master.

[Review] Godzilla: The Half Century War

Godzilla: The Half Century War
Story and Art: James Stokoe
Publisher: IDW

I have been a Godzilla fan ever since my father introduced me to the character when I was five years old. My love for the character has only grown over the years. I have watched nearly all the movies, but my favorite design of "big g" is the Millennium Series. The Millennium Series is the design James Stokoe has chosen to use for this series and he really captures it well.

Another Korean movie down thanks to the all-powerful Netflix. In case you don't have Netflix and you have an unlimited internet service, you need to do yourself a favor a subscribe. I mean $8 a month is a steal for all the content you get; I highly recommend this service to anyone. Now onto the review of The Man From Nowhere

Heads up, Free Download of New Avengers series

Not that there was anything wrong with Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but Disney still cancelled that series and decided to go ahead a make an all new series. I am still pissed about that as it was a fantastic show, but I'm willing to give this new show a chance.

Teaser: Arkham Origins

Newest trailer was released for Batman: Arkham Origins earlier today, and the cinematic definitely lays the ass kicking down, check out the full trailer after the jump.
